Anyone know how to replace the map car? mine is dead, the nav screen is blank and flashed a message no map card. lasted 6 months

I bought a replacement card but haven't used it. The one that came in it is just fine. You might try that. Or take out the card that's in it and put it back in. Maybe just needs some tweeking.

Will this unit do screen mirroring? In other words can I use google maps from my phone for navigation?

I don’t believe so if you mean via Bluetooth. I have not tried it using the usb cord that comes with the unit. But, why google maps? The gps map is very good and up to date. The problem is with the processor. It is too slow. For example, you may already be at your turn when the unit says turn in 100 feet. And a few more glitches in the unit. Otherwise a decent unit for the money.

In the installation did you were left with 2 wire harness extras? Or did evertthing connected?
