Just received this today for my Mini SC Turbo 2009. Was a little skeptical because *I thought* this might be a spongy or foam feel. Not the bit least. It wraps around the steering wheel like a glove. It was a little tricky to get on but not rocket science. Very happy with this purchase.

Update (1/28/21): Another part of the thread in the back has come loose- separate from the previous issue. I took away another star. I wish I had sealed the thread with a little bit of clear nail polish or something before putting it on- but I shouldn't have to do that.I drive a Jeep Wrangler and I got this to protect my steering wheel from wear and tear. It was no more difficult to put on than any other steering wheel cover I’ve ever purchased. They are meant to be super tight, otherwise they’ll slip around- which is dangerous.I once heard that if you put the cover in your dryer for two minutes it’ll soften the leather enough to make it a little easier so I tried it and I feel like it worked. Once it cools down it shrinks back up. It’s in there super tight.Quality-wise, meh. The stitches are a little big and wide so it already seemed like it might not hold. It’s a little thin as well. I’ve had this on for 10 days now and about a week ago (so literally a couple days of having it on) I noticed a loose stitch on the back. Every time I turn my wheel it catches on my finger and pulls a little so I need to figure out how to tie it off so it doesn’t keep unraveling. I included a picture but it was hard to get because it’s on the backside of the steering wheel.

This Cover is good quality and looks amazing, but I drive a Mini 2013 R56 and it does not fit correctly. It was hard to put on the wheel which made think it would hug the steering wheel tightly but i was wrong. The cover slips around during turns, which can be dangerous. I tried padding the inside with wrapping tissue, but after a few days it started slipping again. I am now using rubber bands wrapped around the wheel, but to be honest im worried about what would happen during the Hot Texas Months... luckily i have a few months of winter ahead of me before i ultimately decide to change my cover. (i welcome suggestions to solve the issue)

I love this checkerboard steering wheel cover, but a little too BIG!!! Doesn't fit well. I called first before I ordered this steering wheel cover and also told rep what type of car that I have and was told that cover will fit. It didn't!!!! It slips around wheel which is dangerous so I took it off otherwise would give a five and the four star is becuz I love it and looks good in my car. I'm afraid to buy another if it doesn't fit my steering wheel.

This thing was NEARLY impossible to put on my steering wheel. I almost gave up and returned it. Once i got it on it looked pretty good, just a little small but I don't really mind. I don't think its worth the price, a few of the stitches were loose and the stitching is really wide. I'm not sure if it will hold up.

It came a bit late but only by a day so it’s cool. Came very neatly packaged and there was no smell upon opening it. Was a bit hard to get on which was expected! Over all I really enjoy it, it’s very nice. Even my mom likes it. Would order again and would recommend to anyone if asked.

I have a 2016 mini convertable and this fits perfect although it was extremely difficult to get on. Specs say my steering wheel is 14 1/2" and the cover says it fits 15" so i was nervous but it fits perfect.

Initially, I loved it! Unfortunately, after just a couple of months, the black on the checker board is starting to rub off. It’s really disappointing, because I loved this product.
