Great Tool to Have Around
Worked great for pulling the flywheel off my 80’s snowmobile. Great price and bolt selection. I’ll definitely keep this around for other projects, though I would be carful around newer applications where things are fitted more tightly, as some other users have mentioned. If you’re careful to tighten each bolt evenly and keep the puller parallel to the flywheel or harmonic balancer, you shouldn’t have any issues. Great all-around product.

This set is decently made and the box is nice. Especially considering the price was very reasonable
This set is decently made and the box is nice. Especially considering the price was very reasonable. Unfortunately, the bolt selection could be include a couple more options and some of the ones that are included only have two bolts instead of three. In some applications this is not a problem but in some it is. Unfortunately, lots of sets do this, but just shankley. I wish it had a few more bolts even if it raised the price slightly. Still, not bad overall.

CRANK PULLEY REMOVAL MADE EASY.... BUY THIS
Bought this for a Crank Pulley removal on a 2JZGE.... worth the price. Put the tool on the pulley and used an adjustible wrench to turn the black extractor screw and the pulley came off quickly.... Like 2 minutes. You could use a prybar or other methods but why struggle? Get the right tools and make life easy. 5 stars

Pretty good
Took a little while to get a chance to use this. Works great, the washers are cheap but that’s ok they work fine. The puller itself is sturdy and does the job. Very happy with it.

Great for automotive not powersports
Bought this to pull the flywheel off my 2011 yamaha grizzly 700.my intentions were to pull the flywheel all the way off to get to the timing chain sprocket to more easily get the chain on but about halfway through pulling it off i noticed the hub piece in the kit was starting to bend extremely to the point where i no longer felt safe using the tool.this might work great in automotive applications but DOES NOT hold up well for powersports where everything is fitted on tighter

Arrived on time, worked great.
The Shankly Flywheel Puller arrived on time. It worked perfectly for pulling the flywheel from my Kohler SV735 two cylinder garden tractor engine. Since I have only used it once, I cannot generalize to other applications, but it seems sturdy. Worked for me and was less expensive than paying someone else to replace the flywheel.

Good for the money
Good set for the money. I used it to remove a VERY tight steering wheel that was rusted on. It bent one of the bolts slightly, but I sold the steering column for more than what 5 of these sets cost. A replacement bolt will only cost a little bit of pocket change. I’m sure if you were pulling newer and cleaner steering wheels there wouldn’t be any issue at all.
