I just purchased my second Peakeep clock because I was so tired of resetting the clocks after the inevitable bad weather power outages we have several times a year. I have one in the guest bedroom and put the most recent one in the living room. Now when the power goes out the clocks don't! The battery lasts a long, long time and I like that they can be set up to eliminate any ambient light....great for sleeping. If I want to see the time I just press the bar on top and it illuminates for 10 seconds. And since there's no power cord to plug in it frees up space for all the other things you have to plug in. You can place the clock anywhere you like. Even take it camping. Simple!

Just what I wanted in a portable clock. I have verified the time and temperature with two other clocks, and both appear accurate on this clock.Bright enough in a semi-dark room. If need be, can push the top to get it temporarily brighter. I haven't used the alarm, but then I haven't used an alarm in almost 20 years.I haven't been able to verify the humidity indicator. Since I have the clock located in a semi-environmentally controlled room, the humidity and temp indicators do change with the outside temperature and humidity. So far, the humidity indicator has varied from about as low as 45 to as high as 60. From the feel, in the room it appears that at least it moves in the right direction, but again I have not been able to verify the accuracy the humidity number on the clock

UPDATE:The seller saw my review and sent me a replacement clock! I couldn't figure out how to contact them initially—spoiler alert, there's a sticker on the battery cover 🤦🏽‍♀️ORIGINAL REVIEW:I loved this clock for what I bought it for; being able to read the time from the shower. The display is large and the backlight options are great!Unfortunately, within a few weeks the display would start dropping parts of the numbers randomly. Changing the batteries didn't work to fix it, nor did tweaking the position of the clock or tapping it/lightly squeezing it/etc. After some trial and error, I learned that it was losing time when this happened, so it became useless to me :( I was past the return window, so had to just get a different clock (whose display isn't *nearly* as good).

Got this to replace another one that was a lot like this one just smaller, I broke the old one knocking it off the dresser because when the alarm goes off it doesn’t light up and I am hunting for it in the dark and knocked it onto the floor. I got this one with the backlight so it will light it up just enough so I can see it to turn off the alarm, the low setting works great. The humidity meter reads exactly the same as my old one and the thermometer is within 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit of my good digital thermometer. I am a light sleeper and don’t need a loud alarm this one was to loud but I fixed it by putting a piece of my label maker tape over the speaker on the back and now it is about half as loud as it was before. Very happy with my purchase.
