Would this plug work on my portable air conditioner?

Yes the GFCI plug will work for portable air conditioners. However, as required by NEC and ANSI, air conditioners should be protected by a LCDI or AFCI plug, but in practice most air conditioners are protected by LCDI plugs. Different from GFCI, the LCDI stands for 'Leakage Current Detection and Interruption' and provides device protection by sensing damage to the power cord to reduce the risk of fire associated with arcing faults, which may happen to air conditioners. Does anybody know if this plug is going to work for sun joe pressure joe 2030 14.5-amp electric pressure washer?

It's advertised as a replacement and OE for that make but it doesn't list models. It meets the amp requirements but what about the voltage? Don't get something to far out of spec. As long as you get it as close as possible (over not under) to your volt and amp needs you should be covered. I was slightly out of spec as well (a small difference much like yours) and I grabbed a small extension that was in line with original specs to be safe.

Great value and works as advertised.

Bought this plug to replace a failed GFI plug connected to a high-pressure washer. This plug arrived quickly, was packaged well and had clear instructions. Connecting the 2 wires to this plug's lugs was easy and the plug worked and restored the use of the pressure washer. This was a good investment.

Used to repair an old AC window unit.

I borrowed an old AC window unit from my son-in-law a long time ago. It got left out and forgotten on my patio for a year or so before I finally decided I should maybe return the thing. Of course it didn't work after all that exposure. However, with a minimum of troubleshooting I discovered that the only real problem was that the installed GFCI replacement plug had gotten water inside and had rust crusties everywhere. I got this to see if it would fix the problem. It was easy to install and worked perfectly to restore the unit to full functionality. I have now returned it and my stepson doesn't know that I nearly ruined it. Everybody is happy. Good product. Highly recommend.

Perfect fix for Ryobi Pressure Washer

After a couple years, my Ryobi pressure washer stopped working. I realized it was the plug tripping instantly when plugged in. Was told it wasn’t worth trying to repair. Bought this plug, unscrewed and installed it and I was back in business! No soldering required, just a screwdriver and you’re good to go!

Solved my no start issue

I replaced this on my 1700 pressure washer, 2 prongs, and works perfectly now. It was not powering on. Based on YouTube videos, i thought changing the plug as a first step to solving th problem could not hurt. Very simple to do yourself. So happy I found this.

Easy to install, worked perfectly.

The original GFCI plug on our pressure washer got run over. This was easy to install, seems well-made and it works perfectly. Be sure that you select the correct one based on how many conductors you have. Mine only had two so of course I bought the two conductor version. If you have a ground prong on your original plug, you need the 3 conductor version.
