These are nice and thick without being too heavy! They're absolutely perfect for sound dampening cabinet spaces and more for a sound room! And they're not too expensive either. You get a lot of value with these sound blankets. And they work like a charm!

I now have 4 of these, and they do a great job absorbing echos and reflections.

I really like the idea of a sound dampening blanket with preinstalled grommets and hanging loops.Unfortunately, the grommets used on this one are barely adequate for the thickness of the blanket + straps, they aren’t set properly, and some of them are not even centered on the straps.I had one come loose already in relatively light use, and I replaced it with a properly set “General Tools” brand 1/2” grommet (available in a kit on Amazon) which is a vast improvement.

This sound blanket is the perfect weight for what I need for absorption for a small sound studio. The grommets are perfect to hang from the ceiling hooks.thank you

The curtain does a decent job for my small studio. I have definitely noticed an improvement in my recording quality with far, far less echo than there used to be.However, as other reviewers have warned, for as much as the manufacturer lauds the grommets, they certainly do a poor job holding the straps in place.Within a week of using the curtain, one of the straps came apart (see photo). I could almost understand if I had been tugging on the curtains or moving them repeatedly, but the curtain was stationary all that time.The strap just fell apart for no good reason.This is a good alternative if you're unable to build a wall, but beware of the poor workmanship.

I got this to use as a cover for my bird cage when my cockatoo was being obnoxious. Instantly the sound of hos screaming bounced back to his ears and he stopped screaming until i took it off and he realized his voice would travel again.

Blocks some light at best, still smells MONTHS after purchasing. Does nothing to dampen sound. Gets tears and knicks super easy. Very heavy for so little functionality.
