Was very pleasantly surprised when I received this. Excellent quality packaging, good long length cable and performed beyond all my expectations. Well recommended.

Not worth the extra capacity, get the 185mm model
I bought this saw to replace my old 185mm model, hoping its chip capture tray and bigger capacity would help. However, it turned out to be the worst tool I've gotten from Evolution, so I switched back to the smaller saw.The main issues are its heavy and bulky design, making it hard to handle, and an included guide that doesn't stop thinner material from slipping underneath leading to crooked cuts. I bought an adapter and rail to make straight cuts but it’s so big the saw tended to tip to the right, catching the blade and waring it out quickly.The chip capture tray did a good job at collecting chips, which made cleaning up easier and meant I wasn’t getting showered in hot chips.Overall, I'd only suggest this saw for occasional, rough cuts where precision isn't important. I would take the 185mm model over this one anytime!!I also want to add after a few uses the motor started to smoke (sometimes these things happen) so I called evolution and they picked it up and delivered it back within 10 days fixed so can’t fault the service.
