Not suitable for orchids growing
It is even worse than Leca peebles in terms of water retention and water wicking properties. I purchased this to grow orchids. It was a mistake. Orchids were not growing and showed signs of dehydration.May be good for hydroponics.

No dust or dirt!
Received in a cardboard box as shown in the picture. No plastic in the packaging (except the tape) which is a plus. The product received seems to be good quality and came without any dirt or dust. It’s very lightweight and porous. The Leca balls were all intact and not broken or powdered so less washing was required. Overall it seems like a great product so far. Will update the review later after I use it for a while.

Genuine information.
I liked the clear description of clay ball varieties. Appreciate the genuine information by seller telling these fly ash balls can be only used for non circulating hydroponic systems. But I use them along with cocopeat to provide sufficient areation to my plant roots.

A well thought purchase
Item is as described and kudos to the prompt delivery. Packing is well done. Coming to the product, I had been thinking of growing some leafy vegetables in an organic way due to health concerns and my love my gardening. Living in urban areas, one doesn't get to have a lot of space and disposal methods to do gardening. This seemed like the perfect way to do it. I did research a bit before purchasing and thought this is the right one to buy. I would definitely recommend it if you share the enthusiasm.

Passive hydro for hobbyists
Useful for keeping plants in passive hydro. Add little water at the bottom or mix some seaweed solution for most indoor plants.
