The DGX Moldable Mouthpiece fits all brands of regulators, except Poseidon. Just dip the mouthpiece in hot water using the supplied "handle" then briefly cool and place into your mouth in the proper orientation. Bite down softly for a perfect fit of YOUR bite pattern. Reduce jaw fatigue and increase comfort during your dives. Easy to customize and install. Included is a tie wrap to attach the mouthpiece to the second stage. Hard plastic bite tab retainers (pictured) allow for a better shape, but should be removed after molding and before diving. The mouthpiece tabs may be cut and shortened in length for smaller mouths or personal preference. The mouthpiece may be heated and reshaped but at this great price we suggest replacement over remolding.

Did NOT come with low profile tie wrap
The mouthpiece appears to be good quality. I haven't used it yet, but don't foresee any issues with it. The reason for 3 stars is that even though it is advertised as coming with a low profile tie wrap, it came with just a regular tie wrap. It's a small complaint, but I specifically chose this mouthpiece over a slightly cheaper one b/c of the low profile tie wrap, so I'm a little disappointed. Not worth the trouble of returning it, so I'll just deal with it.

Go for the black mouth piece, drink hot water before hand.
I like the black mouth piece because over time you can't see the staining that a clear or blue style would show. Follow the directions, and make sure your mouth is ready for the hotness the mouth piece, by drinking of holding very warm or hot water in your mouth before hand.

I’ve gone thru 3 in the last month
I dive 5 days a week, I typically bite thru any regular unmolded mouth pieces in one day.About 9 months ago I started using this brand and was thrilled about not biting thruMy first one lasted about 6-7 months but since then it seems that maybe they changed the material. It is much softer now and I’ve gone thru 3 in the last month. The last two only lasting a couple days max. I’m seriously bummed but I refuse to buy these any longer. I know that not everyone bites thru moouthpieces but if you’re like me, don’t waste $17.

Must have, especially if you dive a lot!
I dive for a living and do over 500 dives a year. My molars would cut through the bite tabs on traditional mouthpieces every 5 dives or so just from turning my head from left to right during my dives. This mouthpiece is a game changer. More comfortable and it's lasting longer.... it just looks a little gross with your teeth printed into it:) kinda like chewed gum. I guess no one will want to steal your reg though, so it's a good security device lol. Seriously though, it's a must have forever for me, I'll always use these from now on

Ok mouthpiece but much better available
I have several moldable mouthpieces and this one is just ok. I would spend the extra money and purchase a SeaCure mouthpiece.

Wring sizes check specs for regs
I would love to leave a better review, the specs were not correct and the mouthpiece did not fit my Aqualung regs or octopus.

Came with everything advertised and seemed to be of quality construction. However it was incredibly small and I couldn't even begin to fit all my teeth around it to mold it to my mouth. Returned it for another option.

Great Mouthpiece!!!
Fits on Tusa and scubapro for sure. I think it's comparable to the secure size 1. Have not dove with it yet but did mold and for to my Reg. Molds easily following the directions. Well worth the price. Just as good as the more expensive ones.
