Walrus Audio Canvas Direct Box and Line Isolator, Multi (900-1064)

For my particular needs, dealing with hum and noise with single coil pickups. This unit took care of all my issues and vastly improved instrument connections to my DAW. Just great!

This box makes my pedals and modeling equipment sound way better than regular DI when playing through front of house at church.

Just buy it and youll thank yourself later.

Had my eye on this guy for years and I wish I had purchased it sooner. It's a great and flexible DI, but the LI/DI button is what makes it the most useful DI I've ever used. A traditional DI was dropping the signal from my Strymon Iridium (or any other similar device), but by pressing the LI button, the level is exactly maintained. Works great as a regular DI, but if you need a DI for an amp modeler or stomp box, this is definitely the unit you want.

I didn't know I needed this....using my Strymon Iridium to go straight to the board via regular quarter inch jack seemed to be just fine, except I was always a bit disappointed about my tone....until I bought the Canvas and I just stopped complaining. It's difficult for me to really explain it, things just sound better with this between the Iridium and the board at louder volumes and over longer cable runs than they sounded without it. At bedroom levels it made no difference at all.

Does what I need - sums 2 signals. Well built. No noise.

What more can you ask for. It’s a DI box with a rainbow on it. It’s perfect

So i got it to record bass.. And plugged the xlr to my interface without anything else box make noise .. Then i plug the bass and noise was gone.. So i tryed my radial pro di by it self with out plugging the bass and no noise .. Looks cool but does not sound as good as the radial and is more expensive … So i guess stay away from this one!!! 2nd walrus product that is low quality for me…

Cosa hermosa, cosa bien hecha, sonido prístino al momento de salir a la consola, la carcasa está hecha de metal, bastante bien protegida para que aguante el moverla a todos lados a donde la debas llevar; la ocupo para mandar una señal limpia de bajo y luego regresar a mi cadena de distorsiones para que vaya a mi amplificador, tamaño compacto y me gustó la configuración del XLR a un lado para que quepa perfecto en la pedalera

Aesthetic wise, it looks good with my other pedal. It serves it’s purpose accurately. Good buy😊

Bought this to use with my Strymon Iridium and it functions very well. It’s well built and I would recommend it

I use this to run my UAFX Lion to our rehearsal PA, live show systems, and my Headrush FRFR cabinet. It is solidly made and has excellent features. If you’re running an amp sim box, this is the best way to isolate the line for longer runs and make sure you’re giving FOH the best signal that won’t be susceptible to interference.

I use UAfx digital amp pedals into the Walrus, the DI goes to front of house, the thru goes into my Champ so I can hear what I'm playing. Works very well indeed, I'm very pleased.
