Even with the flap open the car could not locate it. The size is great, it fits in the front pocket of my jeans. It sticks out some, but you can definitely carry it in there. I'm not sure if I would use this on a daily basis, because it is a pain in the behind to take it out and put it in every time you get in and out of the car. Also, one of the things I love about my car is that it doesn't let me lock the doors if the keys are in the car. If the fob is in the bag, you are S.O.L! You better have a spare key.
