The Granny Alphabet

I don't know who will enjoy this more -- the chuckling grandchildren or the grannies with a sense of humor, but there is something here for either or both. There may be some interpretation necessary when sharing with the kids, because there is definitely a British vocabulary at work- but the Granny photos are a sketch all by themselves and they will be fun to pass around among grandmothers - who hopefully won't recognize themselves in the definitely aged dames! This pair of books must be seen to be appreciated - truly beyond word description.

I got the book for my sister, who (of course) loved it. Actually, its two books with one full of photography and the other full of illustrations. I liked the illustrations better...the photography evoked the negative side of aging IMHO. But my sister loved both...so there you go. Definitely fun!

This is a keeper. Probably more for adults than kids. In fact, I bought it for my sister, who is 73. She loves it.

Beautiful graphics and the photos are hilarious and kind. Good on anybody's coffee table. I recommend both these volumes highly

Lovely book for the ones with a great sense of humor and creativity. The author did a great job in the illustrations and also with the pictures.

After waiting so long to see this fabled set, it was a let down. Borrow don't buy, even for Tim Walker fans (unless you are the most fanatical)!

I bought it for my friend's birthday as she sometimes is a little granny herself... The books are art and amusement at same time. Absolutely loving them - and so does she!
