Colors are very smooth. You don't see the individual leds, it looks like a smooth old fashion neon light tube. I'm using this outside and it is holding up to the weather very well. The neon rope appears to be completely weather proof. But the controler does not.So I spliced additional cable between the rope light and the connector on the cord. It's a simple 2 wire connection, but be aware that it is DC so keep the + and - correctly connected. I placed the control in a weather proof box used for outdoor lighting.

These things are insane, they actually look like a neon tube light not an LED and I say that in a good way. These lights are the most consistent colored led lights with the most beautiful glow I've ever seen! I am very impressed with the quality of the light, controller and remote.

Initially the lights seemed great for the sign I had planned to use them for, however as soon as I unraveled them the end of the light went out. The box that the lights came in was also opened, and did not contain the pin joint which was supposed to be included.

Very bendable and very bright. It comes with and IR remote that allows you to dim the brightness in 10% increments. Very good quality, I was very surprised. It comes with the clips to attach it to whatever you want. HOWEVER, if you’re going to bend it, you will require more clips then what comes with it (This was my case anyways). For my application, I was able to use superglue and it held with no issues. On the back side of the led strip, there are markings to show you where to cut, if you plan on cutting it. Do yourself a favor and follow those lines. If you don’t, you’ll kill a chunk of otherwise usable led strip. What else can I tell you?…I haven’t gone swimming with mine, so I can’t verify if it’s waterproof…but it sure seems like it would be. 10/10 I would by this product again if I ever find myself needing it for a project or whatever.
