Good value for the price
Good value for the price. Not quite as versatile as my tacky flybox but ideal for what I wanted, to keep different types of flies separate for storage, and then loading up to a "working" fly box to take on the water. Seeing as I can get 3 of these for the price of one tacky, it made sense - it's an expensive enough sport without paying large amounts for what (for me) were storage boxes to separate different types/sizes. Will probably buy a few more for the same purpose

A fantastic pair of boxes
I bought this pair of boxes, plus another box that had 64 flies in it.I divided the flies evenly between the 3 boxes, and was able to set me and 2 buddies up with a starter kit of flies for around $11 eachThe boxes are great. I added cheap wrist lanyards and carabiners to them and they were ready for the river.

Not waterproof but good for the price
If you want to spend $30-45 on a fly box, knock yourself out. But these are pretty great for the price. I will say the rubber seal might slow down water if you go swimming, but won't seal it out completely. The latch and hinge are ok. But I'm pleased with these and they'll hold my flies well. :) They also fit perfectly in a vest or small fly pack like the Allen Bear Creek Micro chest pack https://www.amazon.com/Allen-Creek-Micro-Fishing-fishing/dp/B00MK16X12

Great gift for dads who like to tie flies
I purchased this for my dad after he had quadruple bypass surgery. He was unable to do anything for a few months and so I bought him everything he needed to tie flies as he used to love to do it when I was a boy. This is a really nice case and he has tied several flies to go in it. He has taken it fishing now that he has recovered as well and we have gone fishing together with it.

Another cheap knock-off
LIke most things from Maxcatch, it is a cheap knock-off of a better designed and built product. The latch barely catches to hold it closed. The silicone seal is very small. The hinge is cheap. I guess I knew this would be case when I purchased it, and the only reason I purchased it is because it happens to be a size that I needed. Otherwise, I would have purchased from another company.

Decent fly box, quality control issues with slots though.
The fly box seems sturdy, if a bit heavy. It holds a lot of flies and it holds them securely, but a number of the slots were not usable. I can't tell if that resulted from a poor job of cutting the slots or if the glue used to hold the material in place leaked into the slots. Either way, one entire row was not usable (until I used a razor blade to open the slots). Better quality control would earn this item a higher rating. Decent value for the price. Far less expensive than the "name brand" fly boxes.

Not the lightest but well built
Have used these for several years now and constantly get comments on how well made they are. Good size, holds a good selection of flys fits in most small pockets on my vest or waders. Makes for a great gift if you stock them with a selection of bugs. Would recommend them to anyone

Works well, not as smooth of a latch as some
A good product for the price, works well for ice jigs, not quite as nice as more expensive ones, but for the price a good option.
