Small but mighty. Fits perfectly with my flair expresso machine. Really heavy duty and doesn’t require as much pressure Easy to clean and use. No complicated functions.

I am very pleased with this product. It is exactly what I was hoping for. It fits my Flair Neo Flex portafilter perfectly. The quality is more than I expected. It is very heavy and sturdy. The seller also provided a scoop and a stand to rest it on. The price was great for its quality. If I could, I would've given it 6 stars. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a Neo Flex.

I rated this as a 4 because it took a bit of woodworking skill from my son to make it a 5 (details to follow). I specifically ordered this tamper because it was solid stainless steel and the correct diameter for my espresso machine. The other reason I ordered it was the shaft was a single piece of stainless steel that was perfect for adding a top cap to enable MUCH EASIER pressing of the coffee puck. My son made a beautiful and extremely effective walnut cap to allow me to press the coffee puck very easily to my desired density. He also made a very nice matching walnut holder for the tamper, so this has been fantastic to use for espresso. See the attached pictures to see the reason I bought this tamper. No other tamper even comes close, but you will need my son's modifications to get this perfection. I'm very happy with this tamper.

Well made, works great on the Flair Classic, Signature, and Neo.

Weighty, surprisingly decent finish. Works PERFECTLY with the flair neo flex, as others have said you can use the neo flex base to tamp with, and it tamps through the stock funnel. Be sure not to press very hard, just enough to where you feel the grounds "push back" or you can easily overly compact the grounds. When tamping through the funnel and on the base it leads to a very consistent, even tamp. Worth the upgrade eventhough the neo flex is a budget machine.

This tamper fits the Flair Neo Flex 40mm portafilters perfectly. It is solid stainless steel so should last quite a long time. The best part of this tamper is you can place your portafilter in your lever stand and place the tamper on top. Then lower the lever on top of the tamper to tamp the grounds consistently. This saves your hands from squeezing and pushing in awkward angles.

I bought this to use with the Capmesso reusable Vertuo capsules for my Nespresso machine. I wasn't able to stuff enough coffee into the capsule without a tamper. This one fits the big Capmesso capsule which makes a lungo size cap of coffee. This tamper is solid, heavy metal, and a bonus rubber tamping mat was included. I can't imagine that it would ever wear out!

This tamper is perfect for the VST 7g single baskets ("stepped cylinder" design). The tamper fits into the inner "well" nicely. It comes with a 58mm tamper mat, which is oversized for this tamper but was nice to have for my regular tamper. This tamper also works on the older-style LM 7g precision baskets (same stepped design) - these are actually VST baskets sold without the quality certificate. Note, LM now sells IMS "conical style" single filters. These take a standard 58mm tamper. My only wish is that the tamper had a fat round "knob" handle - the skinny design on this one makes it hard to apply even pressure. I've only seen this style of 41mm tamper from European websites though.
