My 3 year old nephew LOVES this set! I sent it to him as a birthday gift because he loves play-doh, and he has abandoned all of his other toys (including an ATV that he can drive around!)It is such a good value for the price, and I love the variety and colors in the set. He loves video chatting to show me his creations and telling me the names of the things he's made. He loves to use the rolling pin and scoop/"spoon" to pretend to cook just like his mom - it's just too sweet. It's a very stimulating activity for him and really gets his little mind going! Every time his mom calls he sticks his little head into the conversation and says "tanks for the play doh tings!"I highly recommend this. It's just what kids want - plentiful, colorful, and variety. They don't care about price!
