Maxant 2-pack Cover Button Kit with Tool, Size 75, 1 7/8

I ordered these after reading reviews on another (cheaper) button kit. The reviewers suggested this one as a sturdier, better alternative. Sadly, not sturdy enough for our purposes... We used it to cover 52 buttons for a tufted upholstery project and the backplate (the blue part used at the bottom) gave in very quickly. After it snapped, we had to use the cap of a Sharpie to complete the remaining 50 buttons. Yikes!I think this kit would work for lightweight fabrics, but do not use it for upholstery fabric or anything thicker, it is not a good idea. I will try to find a different kit for our next project.

This kit made me look like a super star. I made my daughters' Christmas dresses this year, and used this kit to make matching decorative buttons using the accent fabric from the dresses. I've gotten so many compliments when I mentioned that I made the buttons as well! The kit has clear instructions and the buttons are simple to put together. It even includes a guide on the back of the kit (on the cardboard) that tells you the correct size to cut your fabric so that your buttons turn out perfectly. This kit was inexpensive and awesome, the best combination!

This kit is easy to use and makes you look like a rock star for having made matching, personalized buttons! The directions were clear and the kit even included a guide on the back to tell you how big to cut the fabric for the button. Excellent product!

These work great, are messured to size and do what they should. They are just for lighter cotton & are a very light weight metal. I'm happy with my purchase & may order more.
