Level up your travel agility
I bought the Yeti 40l duffel bag to support my 8-day trip to Sydney (from the US). My goals were simple:1. Hand carry the whole way2. Contain 4-5 days of clothes, allowing for longer stays with periodic washing3. Support both hand and shoulder carryI didn’t want to drag a rectangular, wheel-bag around even though they are convenient over short distances. I wanted to be more agile and flexible and cover any distance needed, which suits the duffel style. The Yeti performed great.Different shape to fit into, but it wasn’t difficult to adapt. I also carried a back pack and adjusted the Yeti’s shoulder strap length to ensure the bags had minimal contact. Obviously carrying vs dragging a bag has its own benefits and challenges, and accepting all of these, the Yeti performed like a star. Super strong material, plenty of grab handles, and easy to carry. Great to live out of (which we all do when traveling) with the big lid opening. If you’re into the duffel bag style and want a strong, good-looking product that performs well, I recommend the Yeti.

Great materials but odd proportions
I ordered this duffel for a gym bag. The quality of materials was exceptional; it looks great a d has some nice pockets. However, it’s flatter than it looks in the pictures. It looks like something you would use to carry a casserole dish. Because of its weird proportions, it sits strangely on your hip and is not comfortable to carry with the strap. If they took two inches off the width and added two inches to the height, this would be the best duffel I’ve ever used. Instead, I got frustrated with it before leaving the house and I decided to return it and find something different.

It work well during a 5-day trip
The bag is oddly flat and oval in shape. But it has handles on the sides so you can carry it horizontally, vertically, and on a shoulder. It also fits inside an overhead bin on a Southwest Airlines plane. I could pack five rolled-up pants, six rolled-up undershirts, seven rolled-up underwear, six pairs of rolled-up socks, flip-flops, and three 3-in-1 bags. I also packed a rolled-up linen shopping bag and a small face towel. It still had space for other things inside the lid pockets, but I did not need to. I carried my electronics in a small Alpaca Metro bag. The combo worked well. I could take everything for a 5-day trip and was agile enough to weave through airport traffic. It's pricey, but it worked well. The color is subtle. I'd buy one again, but I don't need another one.

Yeti Duffle Bag
I purchased this for my husband to take offshore on the Oil Rig. It flies out on a helicopter every 2 weeks and back in. It is very durable for the travel times it goes on. It holds a lot and has numerous compartments. It is waterproof and has nice handles for comfort. The price is worth every penny.
