They are a good size for a ammo can or put a few in a safe, as far as I know they work I have no complaints on these, gives me peace of mind about having loose ammo in cans

I don't know why thickness and packaging matters so I gave those an average rating. Value is hard to rate. I wish the description said how many packages of product are included and how many ounces are in *each* package! All of the brands say there are "x" number of packages and "x" number of ounces, but it's not clear if that means each package has that many ounces or if all the packages together have that many ounces.

It seems to be a good quality absorption material; packages are clean, sturdy paper/filter. Good size for my safe.

Have had two packets in home safe for 2 weeks. The paper in my safe was very damp before I put the two packets in the safe. I checked the safe papers after 4 or 5 days and could tell a drastic difference in the moisture content of papers stored. They were normal dry. I cant say how long the packets will last but I can say they kept my papers from molding.
