Seems to work
The burn stains from my dogs urinations in the back yard seems to have decreased substantially. Not perfect, but I would say that these have had a significant impact. Happy with purchase.

Jury is still out.
My male pit has some seriously toxic urine. We even try to water down the area he pees, right after he goes. I am at a point where I'm willing to try anything. We first picked up this stuff at bass pro, so far he's only been on these for 2 wks. He likes the flavor and tolerate fine with no ill side effects. I'm praying to the green grass God's that these will start to work. Right now the jury is still out. I'll update after a month. Update: there is a difference, the yellow spots from before are still there but we do not have many more new areas. I'm going to rake out all the old spots and seed again. I believe this is working. One thing you have to do is set a reminder so you are giving them to your dog at a set time EVERY day. I'll update again in a month. One thing is for sure. My yard looks better this year than last year.

Strong Side Effects, Use only in conjunction with other strategies for limited time.
I did start up my 12 months old Doberman very slowly on these. However, when reaching the required amount, which is 1 tablet for each 10lbs of weight = 10 tablets/day, he started vomiting and had sever diarrhea. There are strong side effects listed on the package for "over dose" but I assume your dog first needs to get used to them so start him up very slowly, I would say over several weeks before you reach the required starting level of 1 tablet / 10 lbs. Grass burns did reduce slightly thereafter but did not go away. It seems that the urine is not anymore as harmful after using them but still it is not strong enough to get rid of them altogether. I experienced that during the summer, these type of products are less helpful as grass burns easier as a result of Nitrogen release. Hosing down the urine and hydrating the dog food more is another strategy that needs to kick in during summer. I do not like that the fine print is so small that you can actually not read it. It took me ages to figure out the dose required and I wonder why this is not in the seller's description. I assume because other similar products require only 3-4 tablets per day while this one requires 10 per day. I read a lot and actually found that similar supplements have caused bladder stones for dogs and that is a bigger problem down the road. I plan on using them only as long as needed, and will train my dog to go to a specific place to pee so that the grass can be spared. I will also change the type of grass to a special brown spot resistant tall fescue (water saver pro) and see if that helps. Adding water to the food makes him pee more often and dilutes the nitrogen that causes the burns (it is not the PH). Hosing it down right after it happend will help too.

Tolerable for the big dog
Wasn’t expecting hard pills but he will eat them. He is burning all our land scape and feel like it is helping. Ordered another kind last time and definitely will go back to them because they were more like a chewy treat.Do they work….. not sure yet

Highly recommended
I have used this for about 2 years now. Yes, it took a bottle plus to get the results we needed. You have to double the dosage for a month to get it in the dog's system. We also weaned our dogs bringing us to the appropraite dosage per weight. We use it in the winter as well to keep it in their system! It works great! You can't go wrong with Grass Guard Max!I wont be changing any time soon.
