Decent Control
First of all, this is no substitute for good training. If your dog is kind of an idiot like mine and pulls in certain situations, he’s still going to be able to pull you with this product. What this product does do is save your shoulders/arms a lot of wear and tear.I have an excitable, very strong, 55 pound standard poodle. He walks and jogs well most of the time, until he sees a car or squirrel that he wants and pulls like crazy. This is a very well made product. As soon as I put it on I could tell that my idiot dog wasn’t going to break it. Very heavy duty and easy to adjust. I connected my dog to both rings as instructed for best control. It was nice to not have to constantly pull on him to correct him. He pretty much reached the end of the bungee and got the idea that pulling wasn’t going to be terribly effective.I did still have to pay close attention to his body language because even with this device if he lunged at something without my being prepared, he definitely could pull me over. I’m not small and am athletic and reasonably strong, but if I was casually playing around with my phone like the video and not paying attention to my dog I would have gave planted.Again, this is a tool and not a substitute for training.Overall I am happy with this product. I anticipate it will hold up well over time, and after just one hike my shoulders are thanking me.

Versatile AF!
Love this hands free leash! We’ve used it mostly hiking and it’s been great! The extra stretch of the bungee leash feels more comfortable for both my dog and myself. I really love the 2 handles on the leash so I can pull her closer when passing people on the trail. It all seems strong and well made, which is what I need for my dog (she’s 105lbs). It adjusts nicely so my husband and I can switch off. It’s so nice to be hands free bc on certain hikes, I like to use trekking poles. A lot of people hate leashing their dogs for hiking but there are rules we need to follow and this leash will help.

and a great compliment to my pup's new harness
Well made, and a great compliment to my pup's new harness. Now he can go everywhere with me.Update: After using this leash a number of times, I found it a few inches too short. I'm 6'7", so my legs are longer than most, but I was constantly kicking the dog in his heels. I use part of his seat belt as an extension now.I took the mutt on a walk to the gas station tonight, and when we got there I hooked the leash to an outdoor propane tank. 30 seconds after I walked inside, someone let me know that he'd escaped. It turned out he'd backed out of his collar, but he was able to damage the leash as well without too much effort. For reference, he's 80-ish pounds and rather strong for his size.Another update (3 months after buying the leash): The clip broke as I tried to unhook him tonight.3rd update: The morning after I contacted SparklyPets, a new leash was in the mail. Great customer service!

This thing is amazing!
Update: I have been using this leash consistently for about four months and I have to say, I am still incredibly impressed! The only two adjustments I think I would make to this leash would be to add another rubber part on the second handle. If there’s tension on the leash, it can be difficult to get your hand through the loop without the rubber grip. The second thing is that the second D-ring on the belt has a tendency to bunch up. It’s amazing to have to hook up another dog, or keys, or potty bags or what have you, but with my very pull-driven dogs, the D-ring can get a little squished in how it’s connected to the belt. I’m not sure what the best remedy for this would be, but either way, these are very minor inconveniences and do not influence my rating. BUY THIS LEASH! You super won’t regret it! :)I have two Siberian Huskies and I hook them both up to this leash using a coupler. They are definitely pullers, but the bungee in the leash makes it so that they're pulling and jerking doesn't really phase me, especially not like having them jerk my arm out of socket using a regular leash. It's wonderful being able to use both hands while not having to worry about my dogs getting away. There are numerous D-rings on the belt part as well as the leash part of this ring, which is very handy for holding things like keys and potty bags as well. As an added touch, all of the metal is black, which makes this leash very sleek. It's quality construction makes me think it'll hold up for a while against my two pullers.

The bungee part of the leash broke within months!
How long is it supposed to last? I would've hope it would last for at least a year. I bought this late January for my 39lb dog, overall it was a fair design. For us the bungee absorbed minimal tension from him pulling but it was still super neat to walk/ jog him hands free. Everything was great until it the bungee cord broke today while jogging with him, I honestly would've thought the clasp would've break first.I walk/ jog him with this about 2-3 times a week about 30 minute each time so it has been used at most 30 times before it broke. Needless to say I'm really disappointed at the quality of it.

Company sent me a replacement....
I was hoping that this leash would last, but unfortunately it has not. The bungee part of the leash snapped with one strong tug from my dog. Extremely disappointed.Revised: When posting my original review, I had no intention of getting a refund. The company Sparkly Pets refunded my card, and today, I just received a replacement. Thank you for standing behind your product. That was extremely nice of you to send me a replacement leash. I look forward to walking my dog later!

Mack is happy!
I have a Labrador named Mack who is my best friend and I like spending time with him. We do a lot of activities together and more than this we like to run. However, this review is not about him, it is about the leash that changed the perspective I had about leashes... Having my hands free so I can play with Mack and have him close at the same time gives me an exciting, secure, comfortable feeling. I can say about myself that I am amazed with the leash and he surely feels the same... you can see that at his tails. From now on I am devoted customer to this seller and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Great for running with your dog
Makes running with your dog easy.My young border collie is full of energy, but a nightmare off-lead. He chases other dogs and has poor recall. But taking him out on the lead doesn't burn his energy. Thankfully this lead helps me exercise him but keeps him secure.I'm a 6'1 man and my dog is very strong, but this lead feels completely secure.

Amazing
This lead is amazing, I’ve used it several times while out walking with the pushchair and not having to worry about holding the lead with my hand while I’m pushing the pushchair and holding a toddlers hand is such a relief. I would 100% recommended to anyone

All of the links are metal
I looked at a lot of hands-free leashes, but wanted one with metal links and rings. I think the plastic ones would snap if a dog pulled and then he would be running loose. I have a 50 lb Australian Cattle dog and I feel confident that this leash wouldn't break from pulling! There is a lot of tension in the elastic parts. All of the stitching is well done. Feels sturdy. The clips are bigger than normal. The waist band can go really big and really small. I am 120 lbs and it fits my waist. Can also extend for my 230lb boyfriend to wear. Would highly suggest using this with a body harness on your dog rather than a collar. We are learning to run together and my dog stops to sniff a lot, which would otherwise yank on his neck.
