Baxton Studio Chavanon Wood and Linen Traditional French Accent Chair with Arm Rest, Light Beige

This chair exceeds my expectations. It's beautiful, great quality and I especially love the carvings on the arm. The color was darker than I would have thought as beige but it contrasted well with my light colored furniture. The width and size of the chair is well suited for most individuals, even with a throw pillow. Overall it was stunning and I'm very pleased.

This chair looked so good in pictures. Unfortunately, it arrived with interior packaging looking like it had been previously returned AND the wood frame was chipped on the top corner. I looked a long time for this chair and had high hopes of it being awesome, but I had to send it back. The chair is lovely, but I found it to be small in stature, underwhelming. Make sure to check the measurements before buying. And, if you buy, hopefully yours will not be damaged as mine was. However, returning with amazon.com is always an easy experience.

Beautiful accent chair! They are short, but work well in our small living room and low couch. Color is more of a greige! Blends nicely with the colors and cream sofa in our Living room. Packaging and chairs came in good condition. Would also be great in an office or bedroom.

I gave 4 stars only because the color isn’t accurate as pictured. The wood is darker and the fabric is darker. Almost a tan/pink color fabric. Very pretty. Very easy to put together. Well made. I will be keeping them.

The picture of the chair looks great, but the product quality and craftsmanship is very cheap. The color of the wood was substantially darker with smudges on the stain/finish; the joints were barely put together, which certainly indicated a non-durable/non-sturdy chair; it was very light weight, not using hardwood in its construction; and the linen cover was very thin and fragile. When I initiated a return, FirstofaKind (Braxton) told me I needed to pay for the return shipment ($550), even though that was never communicated on the Amazon marketplace web site - only disclosed in the packing material once the chair was received. They did not stand behind their product - they blamed the manufacturer, and indicated this was a case of buyers remorse. All of this represents false advertising, misleading quality, and poor customer service. Buyer beware of FirstofaKind!!

This chair is light wait and easy to assemble. It is small, and the cushion is very stiff. The wood finish is much darker than the photos and has a green undertone. It is not as shown and does not match other Baxton products.

I love the low profile of these chairs!! They’re exactly what we needed for our space. They feel very sturdy and look expensive!!

The chair is absolutely beautiful without a shadow of a doubt and easy to assemble. the problem is as follows: 1. It is very narrow but one can live with that 2. The seat cushion is too high (or too thick) and too rigid which makes the chair high and renders the back low and uncomfortable. 3.The seat cushion is not removable
