2.0 HP 6800 GPH Powerful Copper Motor Self Primming Dual Voltage in/Above Ground Swimming Pool Pump 1.5" & 2.0'' Inlet Energy Saving w/Strainer Basket

Been running this straight for 6 months in intense south Texas heat, never failed, never skipped a beat. Even if I had to buy one of these every year, I'd still be happy.

Being towards the end of the summer, and the end of full season when my pump went out and I had to get a new one, my pool people said they could get me their discount for $350, so I didn’t really wanna spend that much at the end of the year I checked out Amazon found this little gem asked my Pool Lady if it was enough horsepower because I have an extremely large pool it’s 30’ x 30’ and 5 foot deep so that’s 30 foot across and 5 foot deep. She told me yeah it would do just fine so I ordered it they put it on. Damn that little gem has changed my filtration system. I didn’t realize how bad the other one was lacking until now so so far so good it’s been a week well worth the money and was delivered in two days, so I’m I’m very satisfied with this purchase, this is one of those times where buying some thing a lot cheaper then what most places and brands are charging was worth the risk

Great Purchase

We were exceptionally happy with our new pool pump. We found it easy to put together and the self priming is fantastic! The original pool pump that was there was for an above ground pool and we did not know this when we purchased the house. We have a large in-ground. This pump has made a huge difference in the overall function of the pool. We defiantly recommend!!

Ok the one I bought replaced a burned-out Pentair pump after three years. The price is great and when arrived it looked well packaged and strong. I used 1.5 PVC to join the pump to the filter and suction line., Simple to do purple prime couple of fittings and glue. Be sure to coat the gasket with silicone Lube prior to install. Afet priming and starting worked great for my 15,000 in ground pool with four in pool jets.Now what everyone wants to know is how to convert from (default 110Volts) to 220-230 volts. If you are keeping it 110-115 just plug it in to a water proof GFCI outlet and hook up the motor top ground connection. If you are converting to 220-230 volt. Remove the cap on the back of the pump and push the switch t0 220-230 volt side. DO NOT UNCOVER THE PUMP! replace the cap on the switch. Cut the plug off with a good wire cutter. You will have three wires White, Black, and Green. Green ii ground .. Now white and black are both hot! Hook up the black to one leg of the 220 circuit and the white to the other leg of the 220 circuit.Hook up the motor ground and your done.. I also have my pump ion a 220 v GFCI breaker.Hope that helps.. Pump is working great. Will report back in 6 months of use...
