We stayed for an extended period of time in a tropical location. These pads were literally invaluable. They worked so well we even caught 4 small mice. That not withstanding, we were able to greatly reduce the crawly critters inside greatly. I will be purchasing these again and again. In fact, I won't travel without them now. You can fold them into tents, but I prefer to lay them out open so I can easily check them.Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I have these super tiny ants that started showing up on my kitchen sink. At first I thought they were kinda cute as they were so small and I'd only seen a few of them. Fast forward a few weeks and now they're all over the place!! I bought the safer spider and insect traps to whittle their numbers down hopefully. Left one in the heart of their traffic about a week ago. I checked it today and not one damn ant or baby ant rather. It might be great on other critters but it was utterly ineffective for me. I gave them 3 stars because it might be great on regular ants or whatever

We have such a problem with ants here recently, even after spraying and these have been a life saver. I set them in my counter and under the counters and in my pantry and it definitely helps! I put a few crumbs on them and it seems to do the trick!

I don't like to use pesticides indoors because of my cats, so this seemed like a good alternative. It's not as effective as spraying poison all over the place, but it's definitely safer. It's sticky, but it lets go of skin and fur if your cat gets a little too curious and tries to play with it. Since putting these down I've seen things I didn't know could get into my house. Yuck, and thank you for making these things!

First, unsticking the covering was really difficult. I even tried pulling it off with pliers. Then you are supposed to bend it into a sort of cone, which I found impossible to do plus got the sticky stuff all over my fingers and hard to remove. So I laid it flat as suggested but the ants never went near it. Waste of money. Beware!

Was really disappointed in these traps. They are much bigger than the usual little squares that other companies sell and they don’t work at all. Wanted a nontoxic trap for small ants that kept coming near the kitchen sink. Set it up and kept finding ants crawling all around the trap, but not a single ant was caught by the trap. After about a week, I gave up and placed a terro liquid trap on the outside windowsill and that seemed to keep the ants away.
