Intense matches
Bought as a present for a friend, and it may have been one of my best gifts ever. We played for hours at a time. The set mechanically works great, but it can work even better if you grease it up in a few spots. Just look up a youtube video, trust me it makes a world of a difference for the guys that swing around behind the goal. It really is a great set, and you can even find some real hockey teams uniforms to swap out the players with. It was a gift I almost wish I had kept for myself.

Grandkids love this!
This works great! The grandkids love it. They can play on the floor, on the kitchen table, or on a game table. Easy to assemble.

Love it. Good quality. Not a lot of companies make them this well anymore.
I really want a chexx hockey table, but my bank account says no way. I purchased the stand with it separately, which works great and makes it look even nicer. This is a good substitute while I save up the next 30 years for my chexx dream.

very delicate. Fun but smaller than I expected.
Dropped a tool on one of the guys and bent his post. Now his stick doesnt stay level. Be careful. Also needs to be lubed somehow. A friend of mine suggested graphite powder which doesnt get gummy like oil

Rod Hockey high cost with meh quality
Product arrived in a box within another box. Initial inspection noticed that all of the stickers/decals have major bubbles and creases (these were already on the unit when we removed from box). The rink cover also has some defects. The left wing player for both sides has issues with gears and rods getting stuck, however, I believe with a little more oil and some modifications I can fix them without having to wait months for replacement parts or a lengthy return. Still fun and great kids Xmas gift. With the lack of attention to the small important details I think this is over priced.

Great Gift for Grandsons
Bought this as a gift for my grandsons. They both play & love hockey. Their father had this same game as a child and played with it all the time with his friends, so I thought it would be a good gift for the boys - something other than video games when they can't be outside. They love this gift, so I'm verry pleased with this purchase.
