CHIDeep Brilliance Shine Serum Lightweight Leave-In , Purple , 3 Ounce

My hair is very particular to shampoo, conditioner, and products. Most tend to weigh it down. I already use the Chi Keratin Mist which I LOVE. I spray it on wet hair and it doesn't matter how much I use. My hairdresser mistakenly placed the leave-in treatment on my hair last week and I was pleasantly surprised. It made my hair super soft and did not weigh it down. I don't notice whether it adds shine or not because my hair is pretty shiny from the shampoo and conditioner I use and my stylist does great color. The only thing I would suggest about the leave-in treatment is change the pump. The one it comes with is pretty useless for dispensing and makes more of a mess than anything. I changed it to one of my own which works perfectly. .

Although I wasn't as impressed with the product as I thought I was going to be, it did give my hair good shine and tamed down the frizzies.

This stuff is gooey. It is not easy to spray, maybe because of the thickness. I removed the sprayer and poured a blob into my hand to rub into hair. It’s a little greasy but maybe too much came out in that blob since it’s supposed to be sprayed. I’m getting the hang of it and it’s not too bad for a leave in conditioner with a little bit of shine. If you also have to pour it, apply first to the ends not roots of hair so it doesn’t look greasy. That may be too obvious to state but I will anyway for anyone else who is a also a clutch :-/ Nice for the price and I’ll probably buy it again.

I have fine hair and most leave in conditioners make my hair oily. This does not and it smells amazing.

This serum is light, actually absorbs into the hair and smells amazing!
