The product is cute and colorful, but it is not sturdy and the bell is very quiet. If you were two rooms away, you could not hear the bell.

My dad wanted a bell when he was recovering in the hospital after a coma and was nonverbal when he transitioned to the trach. It was placed bedside so that he could get the nurses attention from time to time they didn't care for it but it did the trick LOL
