A terrific sequel that has a couple bumps
Vol. 2 really cements Jia and Eui's relationship and by the end I had well and truly fallen in love with Fates Parallel. That said, this story definitely has plot beats that are off putting to some people. I personally found them difficult. Hang in there and you'll find the story comes out better on the other end.

Fantastic and getting even better
I've been reading along with the series as it was published serially, and it's seriously one of the highlights of my week when new chapters go up. The author is an absolute master of getting me to care about technical cultivation minutiae, with enough slice of life to keep me engaged and hungry for more. Do not skip this one!

Come for the kung-fu wizards, stay for the fluff
Very enjoyable read. For people that might have seen some reviews elsewhere-the train of the story teeters on the edge of the tracks at times and does a few barrel rolls, but never completely falls off the cliff. Things do end up working out ok.

Sophmore Suprise
I'm going to start this with an analogy. One of my personal Favorite Rock Bands "All them witches" started with a pretty good debut album released in the US. I liked it. Their Second Studio Album "Dying Surfer Meets His Maker" remains to this day one of favorite musical works of art I have ever had the pleasure of listening to.This book gives me much the same feeling. It took everything I liked from the first novel and cranked it to 11, while still staying true to the original concepts laid out in the first book. It's not often that a Debut Author's first series' gets stronger as it goes along. Not only does this Author buck that trend, they do it in an elegant and compelling way too.Easy 5 Stars.

Great Read
The two main characters are very sweet, and I love to read about them. Look forward to the next book and many more to come.
