It's perfect for home defense if you aren't into guns. It's as real as it gets but you might want to put a better edge on it. The shorter blade can be swung in tight quarters tighter than a katana and it's tip would pierce even a heavily clothed intruder. Wish I had some Kevlar to try. It's not a toy, it's a lethal weapon.

This sword style was in service for centuries as the best equipped army in the world in Roman times. It's perfect for home defense if you aren't into guns. It's as real as it gets but you might want to put a better edge on it. The shorter blade can be swung in tight quarters tighter than a katana and it's tip would pierce even a heavily clothed intruder. Wish I had some Kevlar to try. It's not a toy, it's a lethal weapon.

Sharp and clean edges. It has great grip in the hands, although better with gloves. Comfort 4/5 The sheath is well made and the metal tip guard is a good touch. All and all, great item for the value.
