No, this case is compatible with the iPad 2017 and the iPad Air (Not Air 2). **Q: Is the back transparent? I need to see a bar code we have on iPads through the case.** A: No the back can’t be seen through to the iPad. It is soLid black. **Q: Is the sleep cover removable?** A: No, not removable. **Q: Can i use the case uag ipad 9.7 (2018 6ta generation the plyo feather-light rugger (ice) with the glass screen protector that myipad has on** A: It depends on how thick your screen protector material is. Most glass screen overlays are very thin, so these typically do not interfere with the UGH. The only advice I can give you is to see other reviews, write the company directly or order the case and give it a try. One thing - K9 Rick is correct,; the case fit is, by necessity, very tight fitting. While I do not believe it will interfere with fitment, you need to be very slow and cautious when inserting your iPad into the case. You don't want to chip the edges of the screen protector or have the edge pry off against the case frame. Once safely installed, you should be OK. ## Frequently Bought Together - URBAN ARMOR GEAR [UAG] Folio iPad 9.7 (2017 5th Gen & 2018 6th Gen) Metropolis Feather-Light Rugged [Magma] Military Drop Tested iPad Case - URBAN ARMOR GEAR UAG Designed for iPad Air 10.9 inch Case iPad 5th Generation 2022 Case Green Olive Rugged Smooth Exterior Multi-Angle Viewing Folio w/Pencil Holder Metropolis SE Protective Cover --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ph/products/42598734-urban-armor-gear-uag-folio-ipad-9-7-2017-5th](https://www.desertcart.ph/products/42598734-urban-armor-gear-uag-folio-ipad-9-7-2017-5th) --- *Product available on Desertcart Philippines* *Store origin: PH* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
