Amazing Visor Lights
Got these to use for car shows to motivate & interest people into scuba diving. They fit my 2017 RAM 1500 Bighorn perfectly & also fit in my 2009 KIA Rio LX. I really like how the company makes different color options for these exact model lights. Which means it should fit most vehicles. I like the different flash patterns, take down lights, & how you can keep the main lights flashing with the take down lights at a steady burn/on position with the press of the little red button on the left visor light. Plenty of wire length, durable, very bright even behind visor tint day or night, functions as should, good color, metal housing, plastic led covers, & suction cups, & they look professional. Definitely visible to everybody & easy to install. Came with good clear instructions & 2 different mounting options with either screws or suction cups. No rusting. Overall highly satisfied & recommend!

Very nice light just needs a few adjustments
These are very nice and bright, only issue I've had so far is flashback at night time because the top of the leds are not covered up so it causes very bad flashback but I fixed that with a strip of rubber gasket along the top between the lights and my headliner. The last would be a daytime/night time switch installed on the bar itself to allow to get low power mode to cut down on the flashback, also added some stripping along the bottom of the bar with rubber to make the light reflect more out from the window. There are very nice for the price and work pretty well

The Next-best Thing
When you're shopping for emergency lighting, there's literally only 2 categories: a) the very expensive brands like Whelen that can run you almost $1K for visor lighting, and b) products from a more economic brand such as these from XRIDONSEN. I bought these for extra visibility/safety because I do roadside assistance in my 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, like helping stranded motorists change a flat tire. Pros: -The universal installation went pretty smoothly, pretty much anyone could do it. The lights' brackets go between underneath your visors, plugging into the cigarette lighter. -The brightness level is perfect at night. -So many flash patterns to choose from, and the controller "remembers" which one you last used. -The "takedown" lights are dope. They are a steady white light that glows either by itself or with the other lights. Cons: -The lights are visible but not real bright during the day. -They do block the windshield view a little, again it's doable. -There is significant flashback, but it's doable. I might fashion better-fitting shrouds with some black corrugated plastic. -There is no clean way to hide the wires, I wish it came with a cosmetic wire channel. I could easily make one though. For the price and simplicity you really can't beat these, I actually regret not getting them sooner on past vehicles. For future light additions on my vehicle, I probably will invest more and get brighter products, though!

Better solution than dreaded “universal visor mounts 🙄
Don’t let my three star rating fool you. This review is for a “permanent” mount to a 2021 Telluride. Trust me, I would give this unit 5⭐️ if the manufacturers would have brainstormed to come up with a better solution regarding not only placement of the power cable, but also the joke of a “universal mounting bracket,” which I tossed into aluminum recycling. Video to come. It is EASY to design a solution by doing several mods as I did: 1) With 3/4 of major countries driving on the right side of the road, place the outlet power cable on the left hand outside visor as it faces the windshield. This unit has the power cable dangling from the MIRROR side which makes no sense to me. I wound up unscrewing the LED panel, cutting the power cable, adding a hole to the tapered end and using heat crimps to the spliced cable inside. A better idea? Add a removable surface mount connection to one tapered end, and holes on each inside panel plus the other outside visor, so that if purchasers want to switch the power cable to the opposite side visor, all we need to do is unscrew the panel and switch the cables around. 2) Abandon the “universal visor bracket because most purchasers can’t install them properly. What I’ve done is grabbed two L brackets (with suction cup mounts, photo added) that are supplied with the LED traffic advisor light bars. Using two 1/2” wood screws along with lock washers for each of the tapered sides of each split visor, first I attached a suction cup and removable screw (and 3M VHB sticker disks for a secure windshield attachment) to each of the inside suction cup mounts. Sticking the inside portion of the visor to the windshield, I then measured two holes for attaching the L bracket with two suction cup placements that I had from an old traffic advisor light bar. Holding the tapered end of each visor, I measured for two holes to be drilled into the visor panel by screwing two good suction cups with screws into the existing slots of that bracket and sticking it (WITHOUT tape at first) onto the windshield, butting the tapered portion against the bracket and marking two spots in order to drill pilots holes for two metal screws with locking washers, making sure to aim each split visor for the angle of your windshield. Tighten the new bracket with cups to the visor, add double. Sided sticky tape disks and then stick onto your windshield. Once finished you can unscrew the three suction cup mounts whenever you need to clean your windshield or when you want the extra viewing space for things like watching drive in films lol. The unit itself doesn’t quite have the wattage with 3 watt diodes, or TIR lenses that will send strobe lighting well down the road for approaching vehicles. The red color seems really true to top of line emergency strobes. For my truck this length just barely fit with the mods that I used. I have enough space for A pillar airbag deployment which is a critical consideration.
