Wonderful shampoo. Hair feels clean and soft. Does not take much to be effective.

Very gentle on hair nice smell clean good

I was recommended this shampoo in early 2021 by a previous hair dresser, whose company had been using Davines for quite a few years.She stated Dede was best for those with oily hair, or those who need to wash their hair more often (which I was doing at the time due to working in a senior care plus covid). I’ve been using it ever since, as it’s also color safe and one of the only shampoos that does cause my hair to feel weighted down. It also has not lead to build up nor irritated my scalp.I personnally interchange my shampoo and try to wash my hair at least every other day. Due to using heat protectants, I was with a gentle shampoo every other day, and this once every two weeks, I use a clarifying shampoo (SOLU by the same brand).Now, no shampoo works for everyone, but I’ll leave some tips:1) If you have oily hair, on wash day, wash your hair twice. First removes soil/dirt/build up, second wash cleanses the scalp. Also, Davines is concentrated. A dime to penny sized amount twice is enough for my hair, and my hair is down to my midback (I’m around 5’5, for reference with thick, 1a Asian hair)2) Wring as much water as you can out of hair before adding conditioner. You want your hair to be able to hold the conditioner. If you have oily roots, only condition the ends (note: some oily roots come from a dry scalp; if this is the case, condition the roots/scalp with a lightweight conditioner).3) Dry hair with towel until damp, not soaking. I do scalp serum (for irritation), then my mousse (if I use it), and then add the heat protectant (only use if mousse does not have it).4) Blow drying can be your best friend if done properly. Heat protectant is always a must. Holding the dryer parallel to the hair helps close the cuticles, holding in the moisture and allowing your hair to look glossier.

No complaints about the product. That being said, it was definitely not worth the price.

My hair is very oily, and I’ve always struggled to find a shampoo/conditioner that doesn’t make me look greasy. This stuff keeps my hair looking and feeling clean. It also smells good. I just wish that Amazon carries the larger size. The bottle is quite small, but it thankfully doesn’t take a lot to get the job done.

i wash my fine/thin hair daily and have had issues with residue or flakes in the past but not with this. loyal customer for something like five years now.

Super soft and creamy shampoo. Smells AMAZING. Wish it worked better for me. I struggle with dandruff and have been searching long and hard for a shampoo/conditioner that my hair liked. Unfortunately this one was not it. Brought my dandruff back worse, but made my hair super silky and soft. Tried doing a scalp detox and other stuff then used again and after a while my scalp was painfully itchy. Sadly may not re-purchase.

I was recommended this by my trusted stylist and she wasn’t wrong! I always get a travel sample to try it out and I’ve used it several times and I'm ready to buy in bulk. I have fine blonde hair (color treated) and this works wonders. It’s light weight, lathers well, and a little bit goes a long way. Not to mention it smells luxurious! It leaves my hair feeling soft, smooth (helps with fly-aways), and very strong.
