This works so much better than my homemade pendulums. It's responsive and easy to read. It's real quartz. There were some comments on here about it being glass, but mine is definitely quartz, with the charming, mysterious shapes inside. The chain is slightly longer than I prefer, but too long is better than too short, and it has a little bauble at the top. It has a cute little purple velour pouch. I'm glad I bought this, will buy again from this vendor.
