Moth Cake

Unlike others, I do love the smell of mothballs. I know, it’s weird, but these hanging cakes are very good and do the job well of protecting Kashmir and wool items in your closet. Just make sure to check them out when they’re delivered as my mom received the same item, and hers were all cracked and broken, but mine were in perfect condition.

This is my second order of this product.Better than using moth balls, which invariably fall to the floor where they are less effective in protecting hanging clothes against moths.Since using this product, have not seen holes in my cotton clothes. More effective than moth traps which only catch the flying adult moths. I read that most of the holes are caused by the moth eggs which after hatching the larvae emerge and start eating, and so it is important to have the moth preventative hanging in the closet to ward off the moths from laying their eggs in the first place.

Improvements make this product much more user friendly. In the past this product was often messy to work with due to damage from normal shipping/handling. No more!! Also product container was often too flimsy to support hanging. No more!! Much more sturdy now. Gold stars all around.

The new eco-friendly packaging of Enoz Moth Cakes is better for the environment, but is weak and flimsy plastic that can easily bend or break in shipment and make it unsuable for hanging in the closet. I much preferred the old style with the plastic hanger that was sturdy and the container was refillable. The moth cakes inside has not changed. It's the same old formula and scent that keeps all the bugs away without leaving the scent on your clothes.

We just put them on the ground under the hood of our vehicles. We have both had wires, chewed and nest built and our engine compartment. I’ve tried cayenne pepper and peppermint but nothing seems to stop them. They want to find a place that’s cozy and keep away from Predators these work better than anything we have used.

Would never had bought these had I realized what they were. The label describes them by their chemical name. When I got a whiff of the product, I looked up the name. They’re moth balls. A toxic, carcinogenic substance. A friend recommended them and said they worked great. I trust her opinion, and they probably do. I am beyond the return date. I’ll see if she wants them. My mistake.

I have consistently purchased these moth cakes as they are easy to put in area that I want protected from moths - and keep the moth cake in a secure place (plastic casing). They certain do their job keeping the moths away. Repeat purchaser!! Will continue to purchase this product.

I had been looking for these moth cakes for ages and was delighted to find them at Amazon. They come with plastic containers for holding the moth cakes themselves. The containers are a bit difficult to open but worth the sight struggle given the moth cakes' effectiveness on killing the wee beasties. Highly recommended.
