Four time GRAMMY nominated electronic artist David Miles Huber returns with GAMmA on Pure Audio Blu-ray disc in high resolution audio (24bit/96Khz). This very special release is unique, as it has been mixed in 2.0 Stereo, 5.1 Surround and Auro-3D 9.1 immersive sound. Furthermore, all three formats include different mixes of the original compositions, ranging from Chill Mixes to the up-tempo Berlin Remixes. Released on the Auro-3D Creative Label, this second project was born out of the concept of representing light through music. Created and produced in Seattle and Berlin this project guides the listener through space and time, engaging the senses in new and immersive ways.

Best Auro-3D audio only I've ever heard !!
It's always been a little hit and miss with the Auro-3D pure audio only blu-ray.. but, I order everything I can because there's such little content available in the United States.. I haven't heard an "awful "one yet.. Auro-3D lifts music that is so-so to at least good.. but, I loved this artist and even the mixes that weren't in Auro-3D.. though every song is .. there's also 3 other options.. I also really liked the dts with widths and heights mix ( actually it's the 5.1 dts version on the disc using a dts upmixer on my Marantz).. in Auro-3D it's 9.1 channels and is simply mind blowing.. with the dts upmixer ..I'm getting 13.2 channel ( I have 2 subs.. technically it's .1x's 2 because I run a splitter.. my other sub channel is being used for my V.O.G.).. I won't mention any company's name ,though I'd love too.. but, I've had some horrible dealing with them and getting them to send what I ordered.. they charge almost $6.00 for shipping a blu-ray ( though they sent me just a CD and not the Auro-3D one I ordered.. almost $6.00 and over 2 weeks to get it.. this took 2 days..and a fraction of what it's selling for on ebay plus it's coming from Europe and takes from 3 weeks to 2 months to arrive.. so I will order again from this seller.. I will post the name when I find it.. but, as usual I get great service when it's an "Amazon Prime" selection.. I should not forget to give major probs to the Artist.. I am now a fan and want to hear more and hopefully I'll be able to obtain it.. I still can't find any Auro-3D movies !!..

Amazing. Times two.
“GAMmA,” along with Huber’s other electronic offering entitled “parallax eden” both demonstrate surround sound genius. Although I’ve only recently caught the surround sound bug, my musical collection of multi-channel formats – to include SACDs, DVD-Audios, and Blu-Ray – now numbers over seventy and touches numerous genres. When it comes to surround sound music, my listening tastes lean more toward the discrete channel mixes, and ‘parrallax’ and ‘GAMmA’ are easily within my Top 10 favorites in that regards (along with Elton John’s SACD catalogue). If you’re new to Huber’s music as I was, the closest I can compare it to in the 5.1-world would be BT. But I think Huber blows BT away in both content and multi-channel mixing. Although both ‘parrallax’ and ‘GAMmA’ are electronic, they are noticeably different in style, much to my surprise and enjoyment. Mr. Huber, if you are reading this, I sure hope you are working towards more releases, as I truly enjoy your work!!

Meh....
It didn't do anything for me. It sounded "ok" but nothing I'm really interested in listening to... sampling the first 1 minute of the very limited list of just FIVE songs was enough for me. I may not listen to it again. Whereas I loved similar sounding music by (David) Tipper - "Surrounded" in high resolution dvd-audio. Check that out instead.

Disappointing
I bought this Blu-ray hoping for a really cool audio/video transcendental experience. Wrong! This disc is AUDIO ONLY. It has 56 minutes of music, broken into 5 tracks. But these are 5 long, repetitive songs that consist of computer-generated muzak with added sounds. Yes, the sound quality is good, and you can hear different effects coming through each of your surround speakers. But, since the music itself is less than mediocre, you are not going to listen to this more than once (if that). Save your money.
