First of all, they are thin and not easy to grip and secondly, they add a bounce to the movement which makes holding on to them that much harder. I also found that attaching them to lighter kettlebells and using them for various arm and shoulder exercises, can really add some spice to a workout. And they slide down to the bottom on all grips we have. Bought 3 sets of these. It's frustrating. I feel like I could have made all of these for what I paid for one set.
