Is this product like anti freese or just to protect the pump?

Apparently it is both an anti-freeze and a lubricant for the seals of the pump. I only use my washer 3 or 4 times a year, so I worry that the seals might dry out. It is easy to pour in and only uses about 2 or 3 ounces. There's my 2 cents!

Do have to run the entire bottle through, or just enough so some comes out the back end. In other words will this provide multiple uses?

Hello from Karcher - just enough so it goes thru the system. You don't need to use the entire bottle.

I have the K3 follow me electric washer - insructions say to turn it on to draw contents into the pump ?? Everyone says not to turn it on !!

Follow the instructions on the bottle of Pump Guard which says: For Electric Driven, turn it on and it will draw the contents in. Always works for me.

Won't go into the pump. I squeeze the bottle and pull the starter cord repeatedly but the fluid only fills the inlet, and never reaches the outlet.

I use this on a Karcher G2800XC without issue. Wife held a clear plastic cup under the outlet and I pulled the starter cord 4 or 5 times and out shot some of the fluid. The bottle actually collapsed some due to the vacuum created. Not much was actually used though. Plan to use it again when I store it after our spring use.
