Great fit once I figured out the black plastic clip was an extra piece...
I had ordered a previous version of one of these (from another vendor) and it didn't fit. When I got this one, it had the same problem (or so I thought). Looking at it closer, there is a black plastic piece that clips to the circuit board. I didn't recognize that on my first purchase and this one. But once I realized I needed to take off that black plastic piece, it fit and worked just fine. (actually I had the battery upside down, but figured that out also). It's embarassing as I'm generally capable, but I stubbed my toe on this twice. All self inflicted. Anywhooo... I got it installed and working just fine. I left the original Chevy back off, as I'm not sure I care about having the logo or not. I kept it just in case I changed my mind. (My Chevy dealership has been so horrible I'll not buy another Chevy unless I have to. But that's a story for another review).

Works perfectly for my 2016 Camaro with a manual transmission. Order the correct key fob, as manual and automatic transmission cars have different key fobs. Otherwise, you swap over the guts of the old key fob, and it works perfectly.

Nice easy to make the fob look new again
Works for the outer fob on my car. The old one looked trashed. I used the guts from the old one in this cover. Be careful not too loose the little springs inside.

Like so many people, the symbols wore off of our original key fobs and we wanted to replace them. I thought we would have to pay a ridiculous price for 2 new fobs, but then I saw these on Amazon. I'm so glad I did. They come with blank keys that they recommend taking to a place and getting them cut to match the originals. No need to spend more money though. I just took the new top part with the symbols and put it on the original back, thus keeping the Chevy emblem, and re-inserted the original key. Perfect! I did have a problem with one of the original keys not clipping in tightly on one of the fobs so I just ordered another set. The key clipped tightly so I am returning the other one.
