ScottsGreen Max Lawn Food F - Florida Fertilizer, 5,000 sq. ft

I am female gardner. Moved to Florida with different grass, since I use all products faithfully I have a perfect or almost peerfect grass in this tropical climate. When I am working in my garden, many neighbors stop and admire my lawn. The people hire for $500.00 or more companies to take care for theeir lawn. You can see the difference in our lawns side by side. I take pride in my lawn like I take care of my home. A lawn tells people what kind of person lives there. I used to buy all my products at a huge hardware store but discoverd thru Amazon that I can buy direct from Scott my lawn needs. My roses are like my lawn are picture perfect. PS: I love that you deliver and I do not have to carry all the heavy bags anymore.

I applied what the instructions recommended, with the recommended settings for my grass type and spreader. I watered in thoroughly, and waited. A week went by, and I didn't notice any change. I decided to try and apply more with a larger spreader setting, thinking maybe I didn't give my grass enough fertilizer. I waited another week, nothing, 2 weeks now since my 2nd application, and the grass actually appears WORSE than before. I had this problem last Summer, and used a different product by Vigoro, and it worked perfectly within a week you could tell a BIG difference, 2-3 weeks it was perfect. I was disappointed that this product didn't live up to the hype of the reviews. I went ahead and ordered the Vigorous product I used last year and just applied it, so now I can be assured my grass will be a good, healthy, dark green within weeks.. no thanks to Scotts Green Max. I added 2 before pics and 3 after pics, the photos with MORE yellow grass are the after pics, 2-3 weeks after I used this Scotts product. Should have been all green by now..

.I have used it previously with St. Augustine and it worked fine. However, I have purchased Scotts Max on this site several times and just recently saw it at a major Home Improvement Box store at ten dollars per bag less than here for 5,000 S.F. to my surprise.

This Product works great. I saw a difference in my lawn after 48 hours. I love it and will continue to use it as suggested by Scott's. My lawn went from being camouflage to deep green in 1 week from the day of applying Green Max. (St. Augustine grass)

It helps with the Lawn ok

Purchased this from a different retailer, and applied it 4 days ago using a Scotts Turf Builder Broadcast Spreader Mini following all of the instructions per the package. I went out yesterday to seed some bare spots on a different part of my lawn and came to find the attached picture: half of my grass burned and browned when the entire lawn was green prior to my application. The second picture is of the other side of my lawn that I DIDN'T apply this to. Again, the green, healthy looking grass is the side of the lawn that Scotts Green Max was not applied to, the dead and burnt lawn is the side that it was applied to.I would not recommend chancing this on anyone's lawn, especially if you enjoy yours.

Saw little improvement.
