A lot of the reviews mention that it's difficult to get the pumps unlocked, I didn't have too much trouble but there was one I had to ask someone to help me with. I love that these are square in shape and fit perfectly in my refrigerator door, I just wanted to put lemon juice in one so I wouldn't have to grab the whole bottle every time I make a vodka soda. I might get some shorter ones for my bathroom since these are too tall for my shower caddy.

They are the perfect size for my shower ledge. They look so classy. There was some concern in the reviews regarding malfunctioning pumps. If you hold the white underside and then the top pump handle and twist, it unscrews perfectly. I had no issues. Great product!

I was about to send these back but read the prior reviews. I tried it again and the unlocking mechanism is tricky. However, you need to take a firm grip around the thick white base. Then twist the brown top in the opposite direction. This unlocks it. Now they are ready to fill up with Olaplaex and I’m good to go. Love the shape and sturdinesses. They were packaged well for delivery.

These bottles are great! I’m only giving 4/5 stars because the pumps were very difficult to unlock! But overall, very happy with the purchase.

These are perfect for my bathroom!!Wanted to share my review because I also struggled like hell to get these pumps to pop up.I read the reviews and told myself there is NO way they are ALL defective.So, here's the trick!!Untwist and take the pump OUT.Hold the pump part in your hand.Hold the wider white piece at the top with one hand and push down on black pump top with the other - and turn like normal!Voila!!

We bought these for our shampoos and liquid soap, and because they fit well into the niche in our shower wall. However, neither of us could get the pumps to release and pop up. There were no instructions, so we assumed they were supposed to release with a combination of twisting and gentle pulling (which has worked with other new pump bottles), but no luck. We finally gave up and returned them.

One pump is non functional.
