I believe off the top of my head it pins on - but this purchase for me was a huge & I mean huge disappointment - it is made out of the cheapest hallow plastic front (think old Halloween mask plastic) it is the worst waste of money - don't recommend purchasing it.

Yes it is. It's VERY cheaply made. The clock on the front is a sticker placed on very thin red plastic
