Cheese making must have
I'm impressed with the speed and accuracy of this thermometer. It works perfectly for cheese making. It's easy to clean and I don't have to worry about getting the screen wet while cleaning. I didn't think I'd care about the ability to tilt the screen but it's come in handy!

Works greatāonce you know what itās forā¦
When I first received this thermometer, I assumed it was a medical device. Itās a long metal device. Seemed legit. I used it to take my temperatureā¦a few times. The results were inconsistent, but I figured I just had circulation issues.It wasnāt until I read the packaging more carefully that I realized this was actually meant for making candy, so I washed it. Thoroughly. TwiceāIām anal about these things. Then used it to make fudge brownies.They turned out amazing. Made enough for all of the neighbors to enjoy! The thermometer held steady temperatures, and made the whole process feel very precise.In short: confusing at first, but excellent for candy making.

Works well
It's long, lightweight, easy to clean and I personally think it works well. There was one point where it wouldn't turn on, and I thought the battery had died. I thought it happened way too quickly. I didn't use it for a few weeks (this was a couple months ago) I never replaced the batteries. I just let it sit. One day I picked it up and tried turning it on and it was fine. It has been fine since. Not sure why it wouldn't turn on, that one time, but it's fixed itself.
