Creative concept - This may not work for everyone but it should be tried.
I didn't know what to expect but I bought this on a whim hoping to get ideas fro date night. I will give this high marks for creativity. The suggestions generated cover quite a range of movies and dinner suggestions so if you want t do a dinner and a movie, this will generate ideas you may not think of. Bright, colorful and excellent quality. If you are on the fence and the adventurous type - or want to be the adventurous type for date ideas, this may very well fit the bill. Give it a try for yourself. If you want something different to stimulate your date night, give it a try.

Cute
Usually pull this out when we don't have ideas on what to do for our date nights. Some of them are silly so we just choose another card, but it's pretty useful for when you're feeling spontaneous and want a night.

Such A Fun Idea🎉
My boyfriend and I LOVE this set of cards, we get stumped on things to watch and things to eat so this is a great way to figure something out to do!

The "Dinner and Movie Edition" Subtitle Matters Tremendously
Maybe you saw the name of the product (Date Night Ideas Generator), the 100,000+ ideas language, or are just the type to click "Purchase" when you see such colorfully thoughtful cards (I'm not judging). Be sure to take a closer look here though. This deck is all about "dinner and a movie" date nights. All you're getting with this product are variations on that theme; primarily random limitations on what sort of movie (or multiple movies) you're going to watch, and what type of food you're going to cook/have.There are 3 categories of cards, and 144 cards in total. Doesn't sound like much, but that IS technically a LOT of possible card combinations. So if dinner and a movie is your thing, this is a pretty solid choice for a couples game. And I use the term "game" a bit loosely here, since there's nothing but randomness at play. A lot of effort clearly went into the product, so I don't want to knock it too harshly. The idea definitely has merit; just not too much more than one could get with randomly drawing movie titles and recipes from a jar.I'd even be apt to say this is likely to see a lot of use in my house because (as I'm sure it is with most couples) dinner and a movie is a pretty common go-to. The main problem with what's offered up here is the "Mix It Up" cards, which add extra stipulations to both your "dinner" and "movie" cards; stipulations occasionally so limiting that I'm not even sure if certain combinations are possible to complete. Still, leave the "Mix It Up" cards out if they prove too much trouble (or use them as the only card you draw for some date nights), and you're left with something of niche value here.I know how much work goes into these sorts of products, so I hate to give 3 stars. But it's just lacking in a number of areas. One could forgive the absent foundation of a game if there were a wider variety of dates than just "dinner and a movie", or vice versa (no other date types, but this deck played like a game). There probably will be more decks on offer someday, and that will be awesome then. Maybe the creators will even tie everything together with some game mechanics that require thoughtful participation. Until then, I think this is a 3-star product. You might think better of it than a tabletop game designer does. But I could easily see how some would think worse of it too.An interesting idea, clearly given lots of brainstorming time in the topic's somewhat narrow oven. If you're excited by what you see on the example cards here, and understand the basic concept, I'd say give it a shot. It's sure to make a "dinner and movie" sort of date night more interesting than it would otherwise be.

Tiny fun date planning tool
This is one of those cute ideas that is a useful tool- so long as you use it. The possibility of strange combinations makes this novel and fun for adventurous couples- the ensuing antics may not be ideal for couples who are struggling to connect but seem like a great playground for those enjoying their marriage. (though you don’t need to be married to play) It’s a simple enough set up and the package itself is adorable. I’m thinking this could make a great anniversary gift. It’s not lewd so it wouldn’t be awkward to give to my folks for their net anniversary milestone. What you get out of this is going to depend on the creativity and nature of the couple but the tools are all there and it looks a lot of fun. I’m the natural planner so it gets my wheels turning and it gives him a starting point and parameters to work within- too much freedom can be daunting.

Pretty cute concept but I found a typo
This looks so fun. My husband put it in my Christmas stocking this year and I’m excited for all of the fun challenges. I did find a typo on this card though. “Adventure” is missing its “A”.
