Exactly what I wanted
I have cats that try keep stealing my hand towels when I am not looking. So I pot a couple of these bells on the towel rack under the towel. Now I know when the cats are trying to be sneaky. Works great. After getting caught a couple of times, they have now stopped trying.

Cowbells
Sturdy, made very well, had some heaviness to them. I used these for my daughters 1st bday table centerpieces which has the cowbell hanging on the rim of a mason jar.

Sound
Great for putting on dog collars.

Not durable
In fairness, I don't know whether the bells are falling apart because they are cheaply made (although they cheaply made) or whether my goats just hate having the bells on or whether they just come off or get damaged when the goats butt heads (it's what goats do). In any case, I can't keep them on my goats and I find them around their compound having fallen off the goats' collars.

Only buy if you want cute bells to place somewhere
Don’t buy if you intend them to actually be used by grazing animals they are much too low in quality.

Meets Our Need
We have a very small miniature beagle (10" - her AKC puppies easily sold for $2,000 each) who should be named Houdini as she tries every way possible to escape our yard. She will even sneak out a door underfoot if she can. We got these bells and put one on her and now we hear a gentle jingle everywhere she goes. If she ever does escape again, it will help find her. If she tries to sneak out when we open the gate or garage door, we can hear she is right there. It works perfectly for us to keep close track of her~

Put them on my dog. When he runs they are a pealing.
