Since this is a Xerox part, I thought it would be the easiest way to do it. It's tiny: only about 1 1/2" x 1". I removed a small plastic door on the back of the printer & snapped this into the USB slot behind the tiny door I removed –– a plastic clip also snaps into a hole to keep it snugly in place. Then I plugged in a USB cable just below to allow a hardlink, too. I turned on the printer & followed the automatic steps the printer led me through on the printer's control screen. It asked if I wanted to use just wifi or both, so I selected both. It then asked which wireless network was mine & asked my password. After I entered those things, it told me to restart the printer, which I did. Upon restart, I selected a document on my iPhone & told it to print. It asked me to choose the printer I had just set up, which I did, then told it to print. It printed instantly. I then opened a document on my desktop computer & instantly printed that through the USB connection. I then went 60 feet away & easily printed from another desktop computer & another iPhone using wifi! The printer came with all the software preinstalled, so I didn't need to use the CD disc that came with it. It couldn't have been easier! I definitely recommend this product!
