Works well
Just bright enough (not too bright). Gets the light up nice and high off the mixer.

You MUST check wiring and voltage of your board FIRST.
This lamp really likes 16V to operate. Very bright. And the polarity MUST be checked. The internal wiring SHORTS pin 3 to chassis ground! This is a poor wiring choice. If your board sends positive voltage to pin 3 you will blow the internal fuse (talking to all you allen and heath mixer owners) that is not user replaceable. Very difficult soldering repair. I know, because I just had to do it. Allen and heath mixers have 16V on pins 1 and 3 with pin 4 grounded. If you plug this lamp in without modification, you WILL kill the lamp output.

Good product, watch the length
This is a quality product, and its function is excellent. But! At this length, you're right on the edge of this being stable.If you run this out it's length, the connection will be sloppy. Electrically okay, but mechanically strained. A 16" neck would be better. If you don't try to get into all of this length, you'll be fine, just bend it in an arc to relax the load leverage.

Perfect light source
Our sound board is in an area with very little light. This gooseneck light makes it easy to see the slider and potentiometer settings on the board, and mute / unmute sound sources without creating a distraction to others. The price point is just right. 5 stars.

Brighter and hopefully last longer
I have a little 16 track Mackie Mixer for my drums and I tend to leave it powered up so I went through about one 5 watt incandescent bulb on my gooseneck per year. This LED style is brighter, throws the light over a wider area, and (fingers crossed) last some years.

Not very stiff and tends to flop down too easily ending up resting on the sound board. A little too flexible.

Great value BNC light
For a brand with a name that sounds like it was picked by a cat walking on a keyboard, this is surprisingly good.12v only and well under the 0.5A my board powers. Extra long Goose neck is nice. This will be a welcome addition for shows.Perfect brightness.
