I originally purchased this to be part of my camping bag. I got it mostly as a back-up lighter (I've got to have a Zippo, but the fuel evaporates quickly, so never a sure thing) and secondarily for the flashlight. I used it on one weekend trip, then promptly forgot about it until we went camping again this year, when I re-discovered it and began to really appreciate it as an everyday tool.For camping it worked great. It works brilliantly to light the gas for a propane burner, and the flashlight is super convenient and bright enough for both walking to the tent and holding in your mouth as you rummage through your backpack :-). But keeping it handy as a tool around the house since then, I've been impressed. The flashlight on my phone is convenient but not always ideal, and this one easily fills in the gaps when needed. As autumn is approaching and I've pulled out candles in the evening, I've found the lighter to work better on candles than I would have expected. Bring on the hygge!I like that it's rechargeable, and no issues with the battery life. I used it as much as I needed this year when camping on the charge I initially gave it last year. I've charged it once since, and it's continued to do everything I've needed it to in the couple of months since. A fun little tool that I'll use for a long time!

It had a bit of a charge when I got it. However, since I could not tell if it was fully charged or partially, I decided to use what charge it had before charging it . I used it for 4.5 days before the light started blinking. Plugged it in & let it charge overnight. Today is 3/2 & it needed to be plugged in again. So I used it daily, roughly 10-15 times a day, for 15 days before it needed to be charged again. I find that impressive! It was a good price & I suspect that was mostly because it has a micro usb plug for charging. I'd bet there are, or soon will be, usb-c versions that cost more. I still have enough e-doodads that use micro usb that it isn't a big deal to me. If anything changes, which I don't expect, I will update. Like, if it simply stopped working or taking a charge, etc., but right now, I say...if you need one, buy one. Oh, heck, I just remembered tonight that it has a flashlight, too. BONUS! UPDATE: I lost it, misplaced it, whatever you want to call it, I found myself w/o it & it bummed me out. By the 2nd day w/o it, I was about to order another one when I found it in the pocket of a jacket I leave at work. WHEW! That was a week ago & it still had a charge until today & I even used the flashlight a few times in the past week. Granted, it was not being used while missing, but a battery can die anyway if left w/o a charge for too long. I still love it, just love it! And after the tragic heartbreak of losing it, the joy of finding it does not erase my intention to buy another as a back up, oh hell yes. Looking for the style for candles this time.

I was very excited to receive this order , it came with the lighter, the emergency whistle , an operating flashlight with three modes, a lanyard and a charger along with a operational charging light indicator. First and foremost it about the size of a zippo lighter and it worked right out of the box. Everything on it was operational . The specific reason I picked this plasma lighter over others was because the dual arcs are easily accessible without any interference from the source of the electrical arcs like the other lighters. It is wind proof , did not test its resistance to water. The only complaint I have is the battery! I bought this lighter for an emergency backpack and I am still happy I purchased it. By the end of the day of using it it did need a charge , it did charge fast but I do wish it had more battery life. I was using moderately throughout the day. If you are using this for a heavy smoking habit or as your primary fire starter I do recommend a back up lighter so your not in a bind. It is great to have and not worry about lighter fluid . I recommend .

I bought this for myself and my father. I must say we are fairly amused by the quality - it exceeded our expectations.Pros:Packaging: The lighter kit came in a real nice box that can be wrapped in gift wrap.Quality: The lighter itself is high durability and quality. The outer layer is high grade, which resists scratches and impacts. I would not worry about dropping it or pampering with it. The lanyard with the whistle is premium grade. I would expect to pay $4-5 for this quality lanyard alone.Features: The flashlight is great - it is extremely bright (has to be about 800 lumens from this tiny light). It is as bright as my outdoor flashlight. Great in case of danger with the strobe. The lighter has 2 safety locks. Also, once turned on, the ignition has 7 second timeout to prevent overheating. The coils are powerful and set anything on fire quickly. The charging is quick with light indicator (as wells the light turns on when using the lighter and blinks when battery is low). The whistle is loud and simple to use - it is orange, so easy to spot in case of emergency.Value: The features, quality, and items are worth more than what I paid for. I think this lighter is a bargain. Just thinking the lanyard being $4, and the flashlight being $13, you are getting more! I am going to be ordering more from Suprus.Cons:-None!

I pretty much only write reviews if I absolutely hate or love a product. In this case I love it. I had it for almost a year & works wonderfully. As long as it has a charge it won't let you down. The flashlight is super bright & helpful to have. I actually dropped it on two different occasions not realizing until I left for work the next day. Both times I found it on the ground outside of my car when it had been raining throughout the night.I was worried when only part of it functioned but a couple hours later when it was all dried out it worked like a champ.I had similar lighters before but they usually crap out after several months, but this one is still going strong a year later with zero complaints.Long story short its easy to use, dependable, durable, has a decent battery life, & a very bright light. I'd highly recommend it.

I bought this hoping it was good, wow it’s 10x better than I had hoped !Flashlight is really bright.Package is nice although I haven’t tried to submerge it, it looks like it could withstand it quite well. The lighter is incredible, lighting candles etc much quicker than anything else (flame lighter, matches etc) this might Be due to a higher temperature of the electric arc (?) but candles that normally hesitate to light suddenly light up in less than 1/2 a second.Small portable and rechargeable if I had to be on a deserted island this (a knife and a small solar panel to recharge it) would be all I need … 😅

I have had this all summer and lighting all kinds of campfires; haven’t charged it yet! Works great and the LED light is powerful for its size!

I ordered 2 of them; one is still working well; the other has given up the ghost, and will not shut off for some reason. But while it was working, it worked well- and hte otehr has given me no trouble so far. I am going to order 2 more, in the expectation that the one I still have working will someday quit as well- and see if I can do better with the 2nd set, as I do like not inhaling the butane.
