This, as with all of James’s books, is a must read for anyone practicing astrology. Not because this particular book introduces new concepts but because James is straightforward in giving his vast experience of what works, what doesn’t and what is best practice. It’s also comforting when he is upfront about still being confounded by things, I was living in a dream of this going away for me with more learning but it’s comforting to know from someone with 10k+ readings under his belt that that this is. not so but is normal! His other books form a foundation on which my readings have evolved from, this one however is different because what it does is short-circuit what would take me decades to discover through trial and error. I was not blessed in this lifetime to learn Astrology directly from James (I have however reserved a front row seat in the next life ;-), but his books including this one are the nearest we can get. I particularly resonate with his teachings because he adapts or discards though experience what doesn’t work in modern day rather than taking scriptures at face value and accepting them regardless. As a religious and spiritual person I love scriptures, rituals and ceremonies but as an engineer I like to question everything, so this is spot on for my style.

I liked reading this book and soaking in the authors take on astrology with his years and years of experience. He writes about many aspects of astrology, different forms and methods of interrupting charts as well as his opinion on what has worked well for him. The author gives interesting information on how to engage with different clients. Quite detailed I’m glad I purchased this book.

Deep in thoughts and as usual ,James Braha books are good to read at all levels

No one has ever written a book like this covering jyotish vedic astrology! James has created a book that no matter what page you turn to, you are taken onto a fascinating trip into the world of jyotish, reading like a novel that you can't put down. This is all based on James' many years of practicing first western and then jyotish (Indian) astrology. There are many gems of information on analysis of charts and also pointers in living life, facing difficulties, and spiritual tips. Very highly recommended as a guidebook to help you navigate the world of jyotish, with information that is nowhere else to be found! Many insights for both beginners and those more experienced in jyotish astrology! Thoroughly enjoyable and worthwhile read!
