Hip Brace - Sciatica Pain Relief Brace - Groin Thigh Hamstring Compression (Right)

I purchased another brand and wanted a second to be able to change around..This seemed a good choice...after wearing one day I could again not get our of bed

I got this brace 5 days agoThe good - Tried it on, and it seems like it would fit a wide variety of body shapes. It is supportive around both the lower waist and around the upper thigh.I like that it can be adjusted in a variety of ways. I bought it for a hip problem, which I'm waiting on an orthopedic doctor to asses, but i can't really use it,because:It smells of chemicals so strongly that I can't be her it.I've never experienced anything like this. I have put it outside for a few hours 2 days in a row and kept it in an open box by the door for all 5 days and it still smells heavily of chemicals.Sort of like rubber tires and other chemical odors.This was $18.00 so it's barely worth my time to return it. I will wash it in soapy water, per the label, to see if that helps. If not, I'll have to just throw it away.I really don't like ordering anything online anymore, especially from Amazon, because so much of the stuff comes from china, where they don't have quality or safety standards like we have in the US, andI've been regularly disappointed in size, quality and other issues. It's wasted money.I would recommend looking at another hip brace instead of this one. Too bad, because the design is good. It's just the smell!

The support with this brace is great! I have a lot less pain after using this in just a couple of weeks.

Just what I need for my hip problems. Adds enough stability so I can walk nearly pain free and isn’t bulky. Total bonus that it sits and fits nicely along my SI joint as well! I’d suggest letting it air out in the sun for several days to get rid of the wicked off gassing smell. Unless, of course, you like smelling like a brand new tire.

My 50 year old son has cerebral palsy, lower back deterioration,sciatica and hip problems. We've tried other braces but this is the sturdiest and provides him the best support he has ever had and allows him to keep working.
