Spine of the blade is as sharp as the edge
I bought this set and used it once. I could tell immediately that it wasn't as good as the Helckels knife I already owned. The finish was poor and the grind marks still visible. Then I discovered that I had razor-thin cuts all over the inside of my index finger. Most of them too shallow to feel. I figured I had slipped up and had not noticed. Sure enough, I used the knives again today, and wouldn't you know it, cuts again. I held the knife and discovered to my surprise that the cuts were in exactly the position and direction of where my index finger rests on the back of the knives. Turns out there's a burr on the spine on the blade, and it's sharp enough to cut.Henckels should be ashamed to lend their name to such a shoddy and inferior product. Don't buy these unless you have a power buffer and feel like finishing the job for them.

Sharp but not the quality expected with the Name
These knives out the box were sharp but I can definitely say that they are not the quality you’d expect with the name Henckels. The top side feels blunt/unfinished and therefore sharp too. Odd getting nicked by the top side of a blade. These were more akin to IKEA quality knives but I can’t complain too much given the price.
